GB Training Thumb.jpgA number of Safe Harbor employees have attained nationally recognised qualifications in care.

Staff from Florence House, Porthill, and Haversham House, Trentham, attended the Dudson Centre in Hanley to receive NVQ level 2 and 3 certificates in Health and Social Care.

Training was provided by GB Training, a specialist training company based in Birmingham. Staff received excellent quality on-site training with experienced assessor and tutor, Tracy Weaver.

Jess O'Boyle, home manager at Haversham House, attended on behalf of staff members from her home.

All the recipients have spent a lot of time and effort studying while working concurrently in their care roles to attain their qualifications.

The event was also attended by the Lord Mayor for Stoke-on-Trent, Councillor Jackie Barnes, who handed out the accolades as part of the ceremony.
