Spirits Not Dampened at the Haversham House Summer Fayre7/29/19, 2:05 PM
A Safe Harbor care home in Trentham celebrated their annual summer fayre this weekend, despite the unusually wet weather.
Haversham House held their summer event indoors and under cover due to the heavy rain. However, everyone still had a marvellous time and enjoyed a variety of food and fun.
There was a barbecue, raffle, stalls, and live entertainment from Geoff Salt, fundraiser for Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
A beautiful array of cakes were baked by the catering manager, with extra made by the housekeeping manager.
In total, the event raised over £160 which will all go towards the residents comfort fund.
A big well done to everyone who supported and organised the fayre, and thank you to all the people that attended.
