Thumb.jpgA Safe Harbor home had a visit from the head of the local RAF charity.

Peter Hambley, Chairman of the North Staffs Royal Air Forces Association, visited Haversham to speak to residents about the RAF and his time in the service.

Several residents in the home are ex-service men and women who served in the armed forces during World War II and later wars.

The Royal Air Forces Association is a charity that works with currently serving, or former-serving, members of the RAF in a wide range of ways, delivering help and support where it is needed.

Residents were able to reminisce about their time in the RAF and other services, as well as see and hear what the RAF is like today.
