Haversham House Host the Charlie Churchill Show for Father's Day6/18/19, 10:10 AM
Father's Day celebrations were held at a Safe Harbor care home in Stoke-on-Trent over the weekend with a live entertainer.
Haversham House care home in Trentham hosted entertainment from the Charlie Churchill Show.
The show revolves around a wartime theme with Charlie reminiscing about times during, and shortly after, the war and the music that encapsulated the era.
Charlie played a variety of wartime songs and medleys on the banjo and ukulele. Songs included wartime favourites such as 'Hang Out Your Washing on The Siegfried Line', 'When I'm Cleaning Windows' and 'Wish Me Luck as You Wave Me Goodbye'.
Residents were able to sing and dance along and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the show.
